Q. How does a KITS subscription work?

If you are a new customer, your first shipment consists of a 90-day supply of contact lenses. After that, you'll receive deliveries of lenses each quarter (180 lenses for dailies and 6 lenses for monthlies). Your card will be charged each time your lenses are shipped, and you can cancel at any time.

In addition, with every annual subscription, you get a free pair of glasses (frames + lenses) each year. You can order your glasses on day 1 of your membership or wait to pick out your glasses out another time. If you’ve received your glasses and subsequently cancel your membership within 6 months of initial sign up, you’ll be charged $50 for your glasses, and if you cancel your membership with 12 months, you’ll be charged $25 for your glasses.

Q. Can I pause my subscription if I have too many lenses?

Absolutely. You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months if you find your lenses are piling up. You can do this by emailing us at [email protected]

What is your return policy?

We have a 30-day, pain-free return or exchange policy for both glasses and contacts. If you aren’t happy with your purchase, we’ll issue you a full refund or exchange.

Q. What happens if my prescription changes?

If your prescription changes (or even if you just entered it incorrectly), feel free to contact us and we'll change out all your unopened boxes at no cost to you.

Q. How long will it take for order to arrive?

If we have your prescription (including PD for glasses), we’ll get started on your order right away. Typically, contacts and non-prescription glasses ship out the next day and will arrive within 3-4 days. For prescription glasses, you can expect those to arrive in 5-7 days.

After your initial shipment, we’ll ship each subsequent subscription order before the next quarter so you have a constant supply of contacts.

Q. Do you accept HSA or FSA?

You can use your Health Savings Account of Flexible Savings Account for any eligible medical expenses. Contact lenses and prescription glasses / sunglasses are eligible expenses. We accept HSA and FSA-linked credits cards. Alternatively, we issue you a receipt with your purchase that you can submit with your reimbursement application.

Q. Do you accept insurance?

At the moment, we don’t accept insurance directly, but we’ll send you a receipt with your purchase that you can submit to your insurance provider.
